Green & Shine Limited, a charity registered in Hong Kong by
Mrs. Liu Gui and Mr. Kang Dian, focuses on schools in poor areas.
It helps those schools set up eco-agriculture projects to aid the
disadvantaged with the proceeds from those projects. This enables
them to finish their fundamental education and even aids the outstanding
and disadvantaged students to finish their higher education.
In April,2001, working with Phelex, Green & Shine Limited funds
US$12,000 for the Bagualing Middle School and Chehepu Middle School
to set up the "Green & Shine Limited Nursery for Newly Invented
Fruit Tree Saplings" and "Green & Shine Orchard"
respectively. In addition, in Oct. 2001, "Green & Shine Alma
Mater's Tuition Aid Program" was initialized. This program will
aid the outstanding and disadvantaged students to finish their high-school
education and college education as well. |
